Landmark Checks are knowledge checks which are special because I in my infinite grace as a DM have arduously crafted spreadsheets from raw paper and graphite for each of them, a heroic effort which deserves commendation in its own Methods page. As players see certain cool sights along their journey, they can each choose one of the four knowledge checks (Arcana, History, Nature, and Religion) to glean details about what horrible things I've done to Planescape and Forgotten Realms and for hints about upcoming challenges.
