The Swallowed Sun of Ysgard was eaten, and its ghost now fills the Shadowfell with cold light, while dozens of moons fill its sky with sunlight from other realms. Gith tribes now live here, including the Githyaoi and Githyuri, from whom Yayik originates. Key contributors to the Circus of Ashes live here, and the plane's powers of resurrection are somehow applied to the arena in The Town That Kills You.
